FMDj

This page puts your own LSDj or DMGo! ROM into the FM-1's FMDj firmware and installs it over USB. It works in Chrome or Edge. One of them is on the FM-1 at a time: to change, install the other one.

The firmware here holds nothing of LSDj or DMGo. Your ROM file is read by this page only: it is not sent anywhere, and the firmware made with it is for your FM-1 alone. DMGo! is free from Audiowanderer.

1. Your LSDj or DMGo ROM

2. Install

Connect the FM-1 by USB, directly to the computer. Do not unplug it while writing.

Changing from LSDj to DMGo or back: the FM-1 keeps the other one's save in its flash, unused, until the new one saves (REC held, or a change made on the song page). Back it up first on the song page, before you install.

After the install, PLAY starts it. In LSDj PLAY again plays the demo song; songs and kits go in and out with the song page. In DMGo the 16 white keys are the steps of the channel shown, A is D#5 and B is F#5; its save goes in and out with the song page.

If an install fails and the FM-1 no longer starts, recovering it needs a Transporter: FM-1-transporter. The author accepts no responsibility if your FM-1 is damaged or misbehaves because of this custom firmware. Use it at your own risk.

LSDj fork of Felucca: DEADACTIVE. Felucca by Leo Kuroshita (@kurogedelic), Hügelton Instruments. Game Boy emulation: Peanut-GB (Mahyar Koshkouei, MIT) and minigb_apu (Alex Baines, Mahyar Koshkouei, MIT). LSDj is by Johan Kotlinski and DMGo! by Audiowanderer; neither is part of this page or of the firmware here, and you need your own copy. The package also holds three JieLi AC79 SDK files (JieLi Technology, Apache-2.0): licences. GPL-3.0, no warranty.
